  1. Along highway 30-a between Panama City Beach & Destin Florida is a great place to stay on the beach. We shared a home with another family for the week. Rented from [""] If you are tired of the same old condos and tourist traps along the Alabama & Florida panhandle, this area is for you. All along this highway are wonderful restaraunts, friendly communities and lodging for every vacation desire. We had a home across the street from the beach for one night with its own pool, lots of space and very kid friendly. Access to the beach is relative easy as most neighborhoods have designated walk-thrus. One word of warning! You must take a large flight of steps down to the beach in a few beach areas.
